I have a suspicion as to the nature of the sheath, but I'm not certain...

Is it suppose to be tied to an article of clothing?

Wow, I like how your single-handed version came out. I think I still like the two-handed version better, just because it can be used with one OR two hands, and it seems that it'd be more equally balanced. It sure makes a very nice tactical sword though. So far though, your tactical gladius is my favorite. You should try making some bigger swords though. I'd love to see a tactical katana.

I think it looks rather nice, and the pattern on the blade gives it a nice touch too. :)

sorry but that looks like something soulless, made by machines, and cut with lasers. Its very nice and everything, but it looks to much like a factory produced piece of metal.

It obviously is. Perhaps our definitions of handmade is incongruent. Here where I live the Southern Highland Craft Guild rules the land, and according to their rules nothing bigger then an angle grinder can touch it. Thats just what Im used to. Sorry if I offended, wasnt intentional.

If it is handmade according to the rules of the biggest guild in the country, then my hat is off to you. And if its not, my hats still off to you because its a handsome blade.

So how long does it take to craft something like this?

It depends. I usually do them in batches. I would guess that I have about 40 hours in it.
