Here is the proto for the first of my kitchen knives. This one is a bit high end , but I will be making these in stainless and G10.

Specs:

9 3/4" overall
Flat ground Alabama Damascus steel Blade with a 4 3/4" edge
Dyed and stabilized Box Elder Burl grip w/ Green G10 bolsters over a tapered Black G10 liner

The "randomness" of the pattern on the handle constrasts nicely with the lines on the blade. A very nice knife :D
